Hydro jetting
We jet private drains with high-pressure water when grease, scale, or sludge has packed the line and a cable only punches a hole through it. Jetting is cleaning, not a repair, and a collapsed pipe still has to come out.
Hydro jetting uses water at pressure to scour the inside of a drain. It is the right tool when grease, soap, or mineral scale coats the wall and a cable keeps finding the same slow-down a week later. Kitchen mains and restaurant lines collect that kind of buildup. Roots and a hard blockage still often start with power rodding; jetting is what we use when the pipe is open enough to clean, not punch through.
We need a usable cleanout or another honest access. Jetting a line that has already collapsed or gone oval can make the failure worse. If that is what we find, we stop and treat it as water and sewer work, or we camera the run before anyone claims the line is clear.
