Frozen lines
We thaw frozen lines first, then repair whatever split, and we do not use open flame. Tell us which fixtures have no water so we know where to start.
Frozen lines show up after a hard freeze: a crawl space, an uninsulated garage bay, a hose bib that was not shut down, a second-floor bath on an exterior wall. Thawing without splitting the pipe is the first job. Repairing the burst that already happened is the second.
We do not use open flame. We thaw, then we fix what failed.
Houses with long runs to detached buildings, more common west toward Bartlett, need that said on the call. Office risers are a different conversation, and we will say so if the freeze is beyond a single building.
