We diagnose and repair private water and sewer laterals, the line between the house and the village main, when they leak, break, or back up. We figure out the problem before anyone digs.

Water and sewer laterals are the lines between the house and the village main. A leak in the yard, a backup that hits more than one fixture, or a sinkhole over the run is usually this work, not a single clogged toilet.

We work the private side of the line. Public mains, meter pits the village owns, and street-side breaks belong to the water department, and we will tell you which side of the curb we think you are on before anyone digs.

Older DuPage and Cook suburbs still have clay or Orangeburg laterals under mature trees, and newer repairs are often PVC patched onto that older run. We diagnose first and do not sell a full replacement until the line actually needs it. Hidden wet spots start with [leak detection](/services/leak-detection).
